In conjunction with the Government of India’s Central Board of Secondary Education, VSSU operates a residential secondary school for the talented children of South 24 Parganas.  The Government of India runs the school, but VSSU provided the land and the building for the institution.  This school aims to provide quality and balanced education for the talented children of this district, including those who come from backward and underprivileged backgrounds.  This residential school is free of cost for its pupils, and additional assistance is available toward the cost of uniforms, books, stationary, and transportation between the school and the child’s home during breaks.
